Badge Templates

Templates let you save badge designs for reuse. Create once, award many times.

Types of Templates

Badge Box has two template categories:

App Templates

Pre-made badges included with Badge Box. Good starting points for common use cases.

My Templates

Badges you've saved. These are stored locally and available whenever you log in.

Using a Template

Go to Creator

Open the Creator page from the navigation.

Browse Templates

Switch between App Templates and My Templates tabs.

Select One

Click on a template to select it.

Award

Add recipients and send the badge.

Saving a Template

After creating a custom badge, click Save as Template. Give it a name you'll recognize later.

Local Storage

Your templates are saved in your browser. They won't sync across devices. To use them on another computer, you'll need to recreate them.

Managing Templates

Delete a Template

In the My Templates section, each template has a delete option. Click it to remove templates you no longer need.

Edit a Template

Templates can't be edited directly. To change one:

1. Create a new badge with updated details
2. Save it as a new template
3. Delete the old template
